Our Company has a strict "drugs and alcohol policy" for the safety of both the seafarers and the vessels. The consumption of alcohol whilst on duty is totally prohibited on all our vessels. Masters, officers and ratings shall ensure that they are not impaired by an excess of alcohol when the time comes for them to perform scheduled duties. Ship's personnel shall always be able to respond to an emergency situation at any time. The possession, use and trafficking of illicit drugs is strictly forbidden. Anyone caught in possession of banned substances or found to have been instrumental in bringing banned substance on board, will be instantly dismissed. Further more our Company will fully co-operate with local customs and other law enforcement authorities in any drug control operations. The company, in its effort towards establishing an effective safety organization against drug smuggling, has entered all managed vessels in the "Sea Carrier Initiative Agreement". |
